Also known as 'The City of Knowledge' because of its well known and high qualified university, Sharjah is the neighboring emirate to Ajman.
It is known for its beautiful and impressive architectural buildings, mosques, museums and distinctive Islamic designed souqs. The Buheirah Corniche and its local restaurants such as the Al Sha-Abiah restaurant on the corniche and the Fisherman’s Wharf overlooking the poolside and Lagoon are well worth a visit. Sharjah also encompasses the beautiful oasis area such as Al Dhaid, where you can see many fruits and vegetables being grown amongst the desert.
